How do I switch to a new CRM?

Switching CRMs does not have to be a multi-week project. Start by exporting your current leads and contacts as CSV from your old CRM. Most CRMs offer this in their settings or data management section. This is your backup and your migration source.

Next, set up your new CRM with your pipeline stages, team members, and automation rules. Import your leads from the CSV export. Most CRMs including Long Drive Leads allow CSV import to populate your pipeline with existing data.

Finally, switch your lead capture to point at the new CRM. Update your website forms, embed codes, or API endpoints. Run both systems in parallel for a week to make sure nothing is missed, then deactivate the old one. The whole process typically takes a few hours, not weeks.
